When you add some extra ingredients you enrich the minerals, vitamins, and enzyme intake, then you will have reached the next level to naturally detox and feel energized.

You can eat them after you have consumed the infused water although it is usually added for taste and nutrients.

There are many different ingredients that can be added to the water to help improve the taste and flush out the toxins in the body. Below are my favorite.

1. Fruits

Lemons, kiwi, grapefruit, lemons, apples, pineapples – they have enzymes and antioxidants that will go a long way in starting the body’s natural detox functions.

Fruit nourish the cells with vitamins (particularly vitamin C, which has a powerful antioxidant and anti-age properties) with fruits, your body will be able to boost the metabolism and help in elimination of waste rapidly.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar

The apple cider usually acts as a general toner for the body and help the digestive system. It will soothe any digestive issues you have, has antibiotic effects, prevent indigestion, and helps in weight loss.

Apple cider vinegar has acetic acid that is responsible for suppression of appetite, reduction of water retention, and the number of calories that makes it to your bloodstream.

When water retention is reduced, it helps in burning fats in the body.

3. Cinnamon

Many people only think that cinnamon can be added to tea and eggnog, but it can also be considered an ingredient for detox waters.

Cinnamon helps the body by improving insulin secretion, stabilizing the blood sugar level, andweight loss ingredient cinnamon increase the metabolism of glucose – all of which play a role in weight loss.

It also helps you feel satisfied and full. You can pair it with honey if you want to have that delicious taste and speed the fat burning process.

There are no strict rules when it comes to making detox waters for weight loss.

Ensure you use pure water, an ingredient of your choice, and large pitchers to allow the water to infuse.

The longer the time you take to infuse, the stronger the flavor. More nutrients will also leak into the water. Some combinations that I love include; carrot-cucumber-lemon, kiwi-mint-cucumber, and pineapple-lemon-coconut water.

All of them are energizing and detoxing when it comes to burning fat.
